Dinning Room

Just wanted to take a photo of my Dinning room as I did a bit of redecorating. It shows my wall art that I talked about doing in a earlier post and my tea set on its own table. I also brought some nice photo frames (like the one on the wall) and I am going to add black and white photos of the family.

Puppet Theatre

I have in mind to create a puppet theatre (one for Maddison and if it turns out well one for a friends niece). I'm not sure how hard it would be to make...I want one that can fold down flat (I like toys that fold away otherwise my house would just be toys!) so according to my construction plans (!) it has three sides with hinges so that when you fold them out you insert a dole through the top to keep it steady (also would be able to attach a curtain/backdrop). I would also like a shelf/bench top so the puppets have a flooring (also can be used as a shop front). I would like it in the old fashion French style such as the 1700's little blue one above (actually a miniature dolls house one). I wish I could find a flatpack one like this that you could just paint...

Fashion 101

Now I have never worn socks with open toed shoes but I thought I would try it as I see it all the time on the net and in the magazines and if anything it makes the heels comfy!

I will have to invest in some coloured/patterned socks though as my selcections was a bit grim of only black and white...I always thought I was a sock fan but really I am quite tame!

Note: The shoes are red with white polka dots.

Toddlers Dress

Little dress I made as I was bored one day. It is a variation of the Itty Bitty dress with different straps as they are fixed and they cross over at the back. I also fitted a zipper on the side as the straps don't come undone like the original pattern.

Tea Time!

Check out my lovely mix match tea set from mum - the pot dates from the 50s and I haven't looked up the cups but I think they date from about the same. Anyone for tea?
