DIY Time! New Years Eve Chain Heels

Add a bit of dominatrix to your persona this New Years Eve with a bit of shoe bondage!

Step 1: Mark a spot on the shoe where you want the chains to start on both sides
Step 2: Cut two (2) lengths of the craft chain and diamante chain in varying/ascending sizes (eg 10, 11, 12 and 14cm) so they hang as desired.
Step 3: Apply the super glue to the mark where the chains will meet and apply the chains one at a time, one side to the other.
Step 4: Put another dab of super glue on the top of where the chains meet on both sides and apply a stud.

Presto!

Now you are ready to be fierce on the dance floor!

DIY Time! Strapless to Lace Topped Dress

A really cool idea from P.S. I Made This... great for busty girls plus I think it adds a lot of class. Would work well as a feative season dress.

Kris Kringle (Secret Santa) Christmas Dinner

Every year for a few years now my girlfriends and I do a Secret Santa as it was becoming too difficult and expensive to buy something for everyone and also buy presents for our family. We have a night were we get together and have dinner and fun and exchange gifts - this year it was at my house so I organised the dinner side of things on a BUDGET! {Christmas can be cruel sometimes}

I wanted something easy and no fuss so I opted for:
~ Smoked Ham
~ Roast Chicken
~ Turkey Roll (frozen)
~ Roast Potatoes & Carrots
~ Sweet Potato Green Salad
~ Bread Roll
~ Gravy

Next time I think I'll get a pre-cooked/smoked Turkey Roll because mine was pretty dry and just do the roast vegetables in my Turbo oven. We used the juices left over from the turkey to make a gravy. You could have pre-cooked prawns as well but that wasn't in my budget after I got everything else {which was too much anyway} also pre-made potato/pasta salad from the deli.

It might not be for everyone but during this busy time of year it nice to just buy and serve without all the fuss of hanging around the kitchen for hours on end :D

Modern Space Saving Christmas Tree

Where I live we don't have the option of having a 'real' Christmas tree being in the topics, so everyone has artificial trees - but I thought 'what if you have no space for a giant Christmas tree or perhaps you want something a little different or modern to fit your decor?'

Well I've gathered up a few options - I'm rather partial to the wall decals as I have some Christmas hanging ornament ones I used last year and they are very effective.
